Through the office of Senator Usie Richards Ten Thousand Helpers of St.Croix was awarded a grant to provide outreach to the homeless on St.Croix. Ten Thousand Helpers of St.Croix hired 6 people to connect with the homeless providing nourishment and assessing whether or not they are ready to come into a shelter. Many of the people suffer from mental illness and/or substance abuse. We welcome volunteers who are interested in this very special population. Ask about paid assignments as well.
